Deep ruby with a completely opaque centre. Very intense aroma of black fruit like blackberries and cassis, cedar, leather, smoke and toasted wood. Very full-bodied, with dusty tannins reminiscent of chalk dust. Vibrant acidity that remains throughout the tasting. Very long finish.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The property\u2019s 61 hectares of vines are spread across the rich clay-limestone soils that dominate the gentle hills of this estate. The entire vineyard is dry farmed, meaning no irrigation is used. It is here that, with 3 of the best grape varieties on the planet and exclusive gravity vinification, we produce our most emblematic red wine, capable of rivalling any world-class wine, Principal. In truly exceptional years, we choose the best Principal barrels and extend the ageing to 36 months, followed by a further 8 years in the bottle. JFF \u2018Just For Friends\u2019 is then born, the maximum exponent of what is possible at Quinta de Colinas S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o.<\/p>\n

LOCATION:<\/strong> S. Louren\u00e7o do Bairro, Bairrada, Portugal (DOC Bairrada)<\/p>\n

TERROIR:<\/strong> Atlantic influenced climate, protected by the Caramulo and Bussaco Hills. Vineyards planted at high density (up to 6172 plants per hectare) on gentle hills of clay-limestone soils. Completely dry farmed.<\/p>\n

VARIETALS:<\/strong> Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.<\/p>\n

SERVING TEMP:<\/strong> Serve between 15-18 C\u00ba. Decant 15 minutes before serving.<\/p>\n

STORAGE:<\/strong> In a cool place (12-14 C\u00ba) away from direct sunlight and without big fluctuations in temperature.<\/p>\n
